I can't even begin to say what an amazing feeling it was to walk across the stage last night. All I know is that I wish I would've done it sooner! I hate to say it but sometimes life just gets in the way.. I sat in a room upstairs while I was waiting for the others to come up after having their pictures taken and looking out over the water way that included a Marina dock, a view of St.Pete Pier and Albert-Whitted(?) Airport Tower. I began to wonder where would I be if I hadn't of done all of the things I have and been through all of the crap in my life. Would I be as happy as I am right now? Would I appreciate all the hard work I've put it at work and life. I don't think I would. Life is a big part of what you make it and I want a better life for me and my family one day. Anyways, had a great time at graduation and the dinner with my family at Chili's! I'm also so happy that my brother "Slimebucket" was able to come and bring his family with him!!! I started college this week and am loving it even though it's online. Well that's all for now, off to enjoy a mani-pedi with my Twisted Sister, Mumsies and Gretchen!

On the road again... Day 5 & 6 - May 23 & 24,2012
On Wednesday we relaxed and headed the opposite direction into Georgia
and saw the other half of the Nantahala River. It as beautiful! We saw a
few dams and the training area of the rapids that was used in 1996 for
the Olympics training. We were just off a few weeks for tourist season
otherwise the dams would be open with more flowing water than it was.
After heading back to the cabin Jen went down to the river with Mr.Bill
to take pictures and look around. We also sat in the yard on lawn
chairs so Jen could get pictures of the humming birds but could hardly
get any good shots. As our trip came to a close we enjoyed another
wonderful home cooked dinner and then went out to the fire pit and had
s'mores!
On Thursday we headed home in the early morning and of course got lost finding our way to the highway. It was a long drive home but we did make it!

On the road again... Day 5 - May 21,2012
On Tuesday we headed towards Cherokee. On our way we stopped along the
way. We stopped at Patton's Overlook in the Nantahala National Forest
where the river runs through and it was beautiful! We took pictures of
enough bugs to realize we could never live in North Carolina, while it
is beautiful, there were too many creepy crawlers we couldn't identify!
Moving on, we stopped for a drink and a gemstone shop caught our eye so
we decided to check it out. We all got some bargain buys and got to
learn a little about the area from the nice older man running the shop.
We soon made it to Cherokee where we had lunch at a pizza buffet. After
lunch we toured the town which is a strip with all kinds of handmade
Indian gifts and apparel. Definitely some good buys there too!
As we
headed back it started to rain but that just meant more great pictures
for Jen! We had dinner at a rib joint called Rib Country, sooo yummy!
On the road again... Day 3 - May 20,2012
The next day we went to Mercier Farms which is an apple orchard that has
an awesome gift store full of food items! We got all kinds of goodies!
They had a deli and that made awesome sandwiches! They had a cinnamon
apple bread that was to die for! Afterwards we headed down to the town
of Blue Ridge, Georgia. Such a quaint little town that has a railroad
that takes you to a tristate area. Nice shops and seems like a quiet
little town just neatly tucked away in the mountains.
We enjoyed every night at dinner because Mary Jo and Bill are great cooks and treated us to some great home cooked meals! After dinner we enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the fog come in around the cabin. It was cool but creepy if you've ever seen the Stephen King movie The Mist. The dogs would've protected us if anything would've happened. We met a few of the neighborhood dogs. A Golden Lab named Murray who was just like a ginormous teddy bear; Grandma Speedy who's been around on the mountain the longest and River who is a Black Lab. All so sweet!

On the road again... Day 2 - May 19,2012
Saturday morning was great we all got up for breakfast and all of us
ladies went to get our nails done. Kat and I got pedicures and the rest
got manicures. My lady was very nice and actually talked to me which
doesn't generally happen. Kat made good friends with her guy! After the
manis and pedis we went for lunch. Wendy and I had Subway while everyone
else went to the Chinese restraunt next door. After lunch we headed
back to the hotel to get ready for the wedding.
The wedding was beautiful! We head back to the hotel for the reception and had a blast! the Clemson Tiger showed up too! That was really cool! We headed back up stairs for the night and got ready to leave for MaryJo & Bills cabin in the morning.
As we left he hotel it was raining and it rained all the way there but we took a scenic route that was just gorgeous! We stopped at a convenience store along the way and used the bathroom and I the doing that unless I buy something so I bought Moonshine Jelly! Yea I know, weird huh? They say to be careful when you open it because it is super strong.
After long we get to Mary Jo's and get to sit and catch up and the dogs took us on a tour of the property. It was beautiful, plus you could hear the river down below.

On the road again... Day 1 - May 18th,2012
The Twisted Sisters and Mummsie are on the move! We are headed to Greenville,South Carolina for our cousins wedding. We are really excited because we will see some cousins that we don't get to see often. We will also be sharing the drive and our antics with you along the way.
Let's start with driving on 301; we saw a really cute little church to stop and take pictures of and then got back on the highway only to be bullied by a few driving idiots. First there was this old lady who didn't want to stay in her lane and nearly kiss other cars with her front bumper. She just about rear ended a car that was going a heck of a lot faster than we were. Plus, the douche bag truck driver that kept speeding up to get around and then would come up on another car and then have to reduce his speed by at least half just to get over again only 100 feet down the highway. Oh and driving through the smoke on i10 sucked too!
We have just left the Georgia Rest Stop and are on our way to Savannah to have Baldinos, the best Jersey subs ever! Kat is very tempted to find out if the MazDuh! can do its limit of 160... We are also very tempted find us some nice Georgia Boys! So, we just had lunch at Baldinos and of course it was awesome! We are making our way to Greenville and at a stoplight in Savannah we were stopped because of a train that had the freights double-stacked. That was something none of us had seen before.
So we just got off on our exit of one highway to another and we ran over this big tire shredded in the road that scared the bajebus out of us... Yea let's not do that again! We are crawling down the road to our hotel turn off road and seem to be hitting every light on the way, fun fun!
Okay we finally arrive at our hotel and check in and our awesome Cousin Julie(the one whose wedding we came for) has Hostess bags at the front for us! They were filled with all kinds of goodies- nuts, baby bottles of booze, water, gourmet popcorn and a huge tin of gourmet cookies! It was so nice of her to think of us and thank us for coming.we have finally settled into our room and called our relatives who were across the way from us. So we do the hugs and talk and Wendy(cousin), Aunt Gloria and Mumsies head to the Greenville Airport to pick up Aunt Martha;Kat, Uncle Thad and I stayed behind to enjoy the cocktail hour that the hotel was hosting.
We went outside after a little while, we were waiting for Kristin(cousin) who was en route. I also smoked for the first time. Just a puff off of Thad's cigar he was smoking and I was right, I hated it! So Kristin arrived a little while later and everyone came back from the airport and we went to dinner at the hotel. We had a nice dinner and loud of course because this family has no other volume. Finally, it was late and we were exhausted and we all went our separate ways for bed.
